Name removal from mortgage/title deeds

Hi, I've been divorced for 18 years but have just found out my name is still on the mortgage of my ex husband. I thought after the divorce this would get removed by my ex.
How can I get my name taken off. I have no interest in any equity or the house. I have moved on and am now happy.
Thanks in advance.

Your ex needs to get a mortgage in their sole name, you sign a transfer of equity form. Unfortunately getting a divorce doesn't allow the lender to remove your liability for the debt on the property.
Have you spoke to your ex about this?0 -
Write and ask your ex to commence proceedings for you to be removed.0
