Hi.
I was due to travel to Rome yesterday 09-03-220
However I made the decision a few days ago NOT to go.
I was resigned to losing the cost of the flight as it was my decision. However I was able to get a refund through expedia for the hotel and transfers as they could be cancelled.
However yesterday my travel day the government issued a do not fly to Italy notice.
The flight was an early one just gone 6 am but the notice was issued after my flight time.
I have travel Insurance. Can I still put in a claim for the flights..?
I don't want to make a fraudulent claim so though I might ask here if anyone would know.

As above, just ask your insurer. They'll know, whereas anyone on here is just guessing.0
