Airbnb hosts

Airbnb have just announced that they will be giving 100% refunds for guests who wish to cancel between March and April whos areas affected by the Corona virus. Whist these are exceptional circumstances it leaves us as hosts completely vulnerable to mass loss if income and not knowing how to pay our bills, I as a host have a strict cancellation policy but will now lose all monies for those that cancel. I can see the consumers predicament but many are managing to claim back twice through insurers. Where does this leave airbnb hosts and contracts with airbnb?

I have 3 airbnb/booking.com properties in Belfast and have had so many cancellations (free of penalty to the guest) that I am now left to worry about paying the mortgages on the places.Contacted our house insurance policy to be told this event is not covered.None of our mortgages are with the named banks who are agreeing to a payment holiday. Also airbnb and booking.com are not compensating home owners. This will be across the board for the hospitality sector. The outlook is bleak

Are there any insurances that might help cover this?0
