Debt Collection Letter

Went BR back in Oct and have just got my 1st Debt Collection letter from some company in Fife.

What should I do with it?

Thanks

Bin it? Frame it? Shred it? Eat it?:D

Best bet would probably be to forward it to your OR. It might be worth telling the DCA of your BR, but you could also be wasting breath and effort.

If it's for a debt that was included in the bankruptcy, simply forward it to the OR. This applies even after discharge. Likewise, if they ring you just give them the ORs contact details and your case number, telling them that legally you can't speak to them about the matter then put the phone down. Don't get drawn into a conversation.
