Property Plans

Hi People,

Just going through the buying process....

Just been sent a bunch of documents about the property stating what can be done to it, plans, Fittings and contents etc......

This is a new build.......the seller/developer has provided a plan, but it's simply an outline of the whole development of 4 'back to back houses and surrounding land - gardens + car parking spaces.

I am confused as to why they have not provided a plan showing the border of my own property? I know nothing about these things, but surely every property has a plan showing boundaries otherwise how does anyone know who owns what land?

Should they have one? or would they need to get one drawn up? as I need to see one to make sure the garden boundary that I have been told is my garden boundary IS my garden boundary.

There will be one, as it will be what is attached to your deeds - maybe they just haven't produced it yet.
