If you can`t afford to save for the wedding, you cannot afford to make loan repayments either.amyvm said:I’ve spoke to someone and know I can it’s just working out when would be the best time. And I don’t want to have a smaller wedding and we’re not having a very big wedding it’s just hard to save with life and 2 kids
To save the monthly repayments won’t be enough but I could carry on saving a little and pay the repayments back as well 🤷🏼♀️
Lots of folk kid themselves that "it`ll be alright" but it won`t, as "life" and "kids" will always keep cropping up.

If it was me and I had to take out a loan, I would save up what I would be paying back in loan repayments between now and the wedding and set up a standing order into a savings account just like as if you were paying back the loan. I would then take out the loan nearer the time minus what had been saved so far. That way you won’t pay as much in interest as the loan will be smaller.1
