Every time we go into our village shop my dd always sees a comic that she wants and they always have a free gift with it. As she is only 2 1/4 sometimes the gifts are a little too old for her so I have decided that I will gather them all up over the year and fill a stocking with them next xmas.

Good idea and saves money too (iykwim)iF you are paying fro the comic anyway It is sensible to save the gift for xmas and not have to pay for little bits for the stocking-Might pinch your idea in a few years when I have kidsLove can tame the wildest0

I save freebies throughout the year for my 2YO's stocking, things off comics, stuff from the freebies thread, freebies from book orders etc. This year he is getting a couple of things which I got last year & tucked away as they were too old for him then including a free furry penguin rucksack from the Book people and a Bob the Builder tape measure from a comic, plus I have several books put away for next year or even the year after, all freebies & will come into their own one day!Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
