Hello,
I got an AIP from Santander (which is my bank) for £100k mortgage with 5k deposit.
Found a house i love, offer was accepted at £105k. MA submitted mortgage application on Friday 6th March but with £8k deposit.
3 month payslips,4 month bank statements, passport etc all sent same time as application.
How long does it normally take to hear anything back? I am absolutely panicking. I have the worst luck in the world and im scared mortgage will get refused.
I earn £50k a year, i have one credit card with limit of £1250 and zero balance and that's it. No debt. No overdraft.
I'm in Scotland too so i dont think they need to do a separate valuation? My sister application for her mortgage was sent in the AM and she received offer by PM.
Am i right to be worried?

As long as the surveyor is on Santander's panel of survey companies the HB report will be used, depending on the age of the report it may need to be refreshed but the seller pays for that.
If they don't offer you a mortgage, see a broker and they will get you sorted out.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0
