End of process with Enact - A few questions

I am supposedly in the end of the process with Enact, since my property is unencumbered (no mortgage on it) and I'm remortgaging it (doing equity release) they asked me for some docs which I provided and they told me the last step is they need to get an official title for my correspondence address (not the address/property I'm remortgaging) to see if I'm listed there - but since I'm renting it my name won't show there, and they told me it's very normal if your name is not there.

They said if the name is not on the title (which is very normal with people renting etc.) then they would need to ask some questions via phone/email just to clarify it and then it's all final.

I'm not sure if that means I'm in a position to start the legal work on my 2nd BTL or not? Currently I'm not starting anything before I have a full authorization from Enact and/or Completion of the remortgage - but I am wondering if others here perhaps had the same experience and know if I'm really in the final hurdle or I could expect things to drag on and on forever? The last person from Enact I spoke with estimated completion should "almost definitely" be before the end of this month of March but again - before I see things are all final I am really not interested in moving forward.

Can I ask if anyone has gone through the same process or anyone has an experience with this or can advise if I'm in the final step or perhaps you can assume nothing before it's really final?
