Radio Times - anyone know of any good deals for a 6/12 month subscription? Upping their rates again!

The people producing Radio Times (not the BBC) are jacking up their subscription rates again. Mine's going up from £30 per half year to £72! Except that there's no way I'm paying that.
There's a £55 rate knocking around (no free copies) - but has anyone found any particularly good rates please? I'm interested in the 6/12 for £1 opening offer, obviously, but I'm more interested in the renewal rate.
