Travel Insurance

I have Travel Insurance through Sainsburys Bank. I have 2 trips planned this year one to Scotland and one to Switzerland. Will my insurance cover me if I am unable to travel due to Government advice or contracting the virus. I’ve have purchased the policy within the last 7 days so could cancel if it is not going to cover us

All it states on the Sainsbury website is that
Our travel insurance policies do not cover travel undertaken to an area where the FCO advise against all or all but essential travel.
If you have already planned a trip to one of the areas highlighted by the FCO, your policy may provide cover for cancelling your trip.
I suggest you 'phone Sainsbury and confirm whether or not your insurance policy will cover you
