Dilated cardiomyopathy

Hi ; 40years old and just diagnosed with this
otherwise fit and healthy exercise most days and eat well don’t smoke drink much or overweight 
apparently my left ventricle ejection fraction is 28% which puts me at high risk
obviously will be getting professional advice and waiting for consultant appointment at moment but wondering if anyone else has direct experience of this and anything to share regards their experience
google is a frightening place !

How did you get the diagnosis without professional involvement?

 Google is scary. I've apparently got right ventuilcar cardiomyopathy and I wouldn't know. No symptoms, no medication.it was found by accident when having an ecg to monitor a drugs for something else effects. 

 Wait to speak to your consultant, google will have you dead tomorrow
