change deal after Mortgage Promise?

Hi, I'm in the process of buying a home. We where in the point that Halifax  was doing the valuation and did £0 value until we send a cladding report. hopefully developer is finishing it and will provided one in the next few days.  Now I see the news the interest rate  was cut -0.50%/ I guess all the mortgage interest deals will drop in some way.
My Question:
At this point, Can I just ask my mortgage advisor to request another mortgage promise with a better deal?  Will this affect my credit score in any way?

You can reapply or ask the lender if they will move you onto the new deal.  Whether your credit score changes is irrelevant.  The worst that would happen is an additional search.

It is unlikely mortgage rates will drop by 0.5%. Lenders have been cutting rates for the last 2 weeks, so you may see some tweaks, but I doubt it will be that much (some lenders may not drop their rates at all).
