Halifax changed their rates before 8am. I enquired with my broker who confirmed the advertised rates are the new ones.

I don't see any cuts on Nationwide website. They cut 2yr fix from 1.24% to 1.14% in last two weeks probably but rest seems to be the same as published earlier.

I'm glad my tracker will be going down to 0.95% from April :-)

Halifax changed their rates before 8am. I enquired with my broker who confirmed the advertised rates are the new ones. 

Brokers all get the same updates. No rates have changed. Halifax site confirms last price update was 2nd March 2020 which was confirmed in their email to us on the 27th Feb. Go on the Halifax site and will confirm the broker isn't quite telling the truth. Doubt anyone in 'Halifax Pricing' was in before 8am!!!!

What to do???
I'm in the middle of a remortgage for a 10 year fix at 2.19% (I want to fix for a long time) with coventry.. 
Do i delay to see if there is a better rate available? My broker thinks not, as the 10 year fixes tend not to change much with these announcements anyway.. thoughts?

Everybody needs to calm down here.
A few points to notice.
1. It will take the Lenders some time to make decisions about their own rates
2. A drop in base rate does not mean a drop in fixed rates of the same level, or at all - it does not work like that.
3. This drop is an emergency measure which means there is more turbulance to come during which fixed rates may be more valuable to borrowers than ever.
4. You have no need to panic about missing out if you are about to complete, your original decision process was likely correct. We are talking about borrowings over 25 years not 25 weeks.

You're 100% correct - verified with my broker. I will wait till early next week to see if rates get slashed further. I got 1.80% in late Feb and at the moment its 1.59%, so either way a decent decrease.
