Nationwide Undervalued Property

Frankly i have no idea that is what it was on for and that is what i have offered.

I am absolutely certain they won't budge from that price so it's onto find another property i guess.

How did they do the valuation? Computer? Remotely? Drive by? Or proper valuation on inspection?
If the latter then run a mile. If done by computer or remotely then you need to know if there is a reason for it - property may be extended compared to other similar ones in area? Or in much better condition? If not then you're stuck.

Right, so it seems more that you (and the sellers) have overvalued it rather than anybody has undervalued it. The sellers will have the same problem with any other buyers so either renegotiate or walk away (unless you really want to pay 25% more than it's worth).

The appeal has been lodged with Nationwide the estate agents have done a comparable search and found nothing in the area in that condition selling for sixty...so fingers crossed they will amend the valuation.

Sold for. Not selling for. Advertised prices mean little.
