Poll started 10 March 2020

It's cheap and environmentally friendly, yet some people think only new will do. Tell us - what items would you be happy to buy second-hand, if they were decent quality and cheaper?

Well actually, not so much of the "buy" these items, more of the Freecycle them - all of them (well, not the wedding dress or the motorcycle) (yet).

Buying anything second hand is great - but also keep in mind the importance of selling or passing on your unwanted items. There's a lot of useful stuff sitting in people's cupboards, with the worst examples being technology items that might get outdated and never used again if forgotten for too long.

I wonder if I am misunderstanding the results?
    They seem unbelievable.
Nearly every category is under 10%.
So 90% (roughly) would only buy a car or a book if it was NEW???
That sounds like madness to me.
They are just paying through the nose.
    What do others think?

The car one is the result that stood out to me too. Seems bonkers if true.
Not particularly surprised about the book one.
