Paracetamol caplets in my local B&M were 19p for a pack of 16.  After a short while being out of stock, they are now back on the shelves. The identical pack is 59p!

Still 19p in Home Bargains today.

Popped into home and bargain for bottle of water yesterday morning on my way to work. I picked one pack up, 23p on shelf, worked out the cost of both the water and these but was short, they had put them up to 39p

I believe there are two issues, high demand and manufacturing being limited by some countries to protect domestic supply.
I couldn't even buy any today, 10 yes 10 shops were sold out in a town centre.
Lidl had some yesterday but for some reason I didn't buy any!
I need them day to day so have turned online for a box of 100,  just waiting on order approval. Yes with delivery they were expensive but I need them.

I couldn't get any either today and I take them daily for sinus issues, so a friend who has them on prescription sent me a box down which was very kind of her.

Well, there is no paracetamol to buy in B&M today at any price!  Plus, the cleaning material aisle was busy with folk buying cleaning sprays etc.  What do they do normally I wonder?

An update.  Paracetamol back on the shelves in my local B&M and now back to 19p.  There was no stock in Morrisons though.

Yes my B&M has loads for 19p too. No where else had them though.

Our local Sainsbury’s hasn’t had paracetamol for what seems like ages (unless I just haven’t been at the right time) but on a walk round to our local convenience store and post office I discovered that they had plenty and no rip off prices.

With the state of B&M price marking it was likely the wrong label.  Unless the price is printed on the box it is a gamble knowing what the product price actually is with that lot !
