Mortgage more than 3 months before starting new job

Hi,
My fiance and I are currently house hunting and we've seen something that we'd like to put an offer on. We've spoken to a mortgage broker who says there will be no problem with us borrowing the required amount of money; however, as my fiance does not start her new job until September, we would not be able to apply for a mortgage until 3 months before - so essentially 1 June this year. To give some context, she is currently doing a PhD and only has a bursary as an income, but she does have a full contract signed ready for September. We also have a relatively substantial deposit of over 100K to put down, and I'm in a secure full time job.
So is anybody aware of specific mortgage lenders who may consider giving us a mortgage longer than the 3 months before she starts work?

Doubt it. 3 month seems to be the best (and in my opinion, is very generous). Most are day one of employment so the 3 months is pushing the envelope already. Only way would be to see if someone could use the Bursary incomeI am a mortgage broker and IFA.
