Delivery Charges From The US

Looking for some advice as I want to import two Seats from the USA. The price I have been quoted is with shipping
but not customs charges & duty.
From some research I did I know I am going to have to pay VAT at 20%
which is standard but its the other fees I am concerned about like will
the port the seats arrive at charge a fee or the courier accepting them
charge a handling fee?
Also I am struggling to work out UK duty that the HMRC applies to the cost of the item, insurance & shipping costs. If I have found the correct commodity code (9401710000) there is no third country duty to be paid.
Does anyone have any experience with importing seats from the US & how I can calculate how much it will cost?
