Hi after abit of advice. We applied for a tsb mortgage last Thursday (27th) they then instructed a valuation of the property on thr Monday but didnt do it, they theb requested another one of my payslips and they did the valuation today.
Im loosing sleep over how this is going to go really.
We have a combined income of 50k a year. our dti ratio is 34%ish. My husband had a default of about 180 from 3/4 years ago.
Were just so anxious waiting. Do we have a good chance. Haven't got a clue what tsb are like for mortgages we bank with them but we are ftb
Any advise greatly appreciated

as long as you declared the default, you just need to let the underwriter process run its course.
Are you using a broker? If not, it could have reduced a lot of your stress and matched you to a lender to your circumstances and ensure you pass the lenders criteria easily
If you are as above need to wait and give what ever they ask for"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

TSB use third party surveyors to perform valuations.
Does your husband have overtime, commission, shift allowances as part of his earnings?

How long has this app been in progress?? It could be that they need you to provide a further payslip because the case has progressed by a month, a lot of pay days are the end of the month. We don't know the house price, LTV, if you are making a purchase or remortgage and deposit etc?0
