Electoral roll importance

Was living at home with the parents and was on the electoral roll the whole time (12 years) When I joined the army I was taken off it. That's going on 2 years now.
Would this be flagged up as an issue with a mortage company? Or would the 12 years be more than enough?

They look at whether you're currently on the register. Whether or not you have been in the past doesn't really matter. Is there any reason you're not on it now? I'd register as a service voter if you don't have a permanent address at the moment.0

I feel your pain.
I have registered both at my previous camp and at my new camp. They are moving us around camp a lot, but it's better to register. You can register as a service voter if you need too and someone can vote for you. If you think this is going to be an issue, go to a specialist armed forces mortgage broker and they will give you all the help you need and find a lender who will be fine with this!2 -
I obtained a mortgage without being in the register0
