Pepper Money Mortgage

I'm currently going through an application with Pepper via a broker. I've paid the application fee and the valuation has come back all fine. I've missed a call from Pepper this evening and now they're closed and I'm panicking, anyone know if it's normal for them to contact customers direct when there's a broker involved ??

They usually don't instruct valuation until most of the underwriting is done so it's at a good stage.
I believe they do a security check with the client directly prior to issuing the offer. I haven't used them this year but when I did one in November with them I remember my client had to call them to just authorise the offer to be issued
Sounds like it's all good really0 -
I was hoping this would be the case, thanks for the info.0

Yup, sounds like a security check. Just generally asking one or 2 questions to ensure you applied for a mortgage, nothign to worry about.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
