How does it all work now then? I went br in 2009 and obviously went to court, I hear now it's all online but how much of its online? Are there any phone calls etc to be made? (Or etc)

You fill in an application form online, pay the fee and submit it.A day or so later you get an email notification saying you are bankrupt, a few days later the OR will call you to arrange a phone interview, they discus why you are in this situation, what you've done to avoid it and look into your finances. A few weeks to months later an IPA is set up if required. At the 1 year point you are automatically discharged and can email the insolvency service to get a copy of the certificate emailed to you.I may be wrong sometimes, I learn a little every time I'm corrected.0

So potentially you can pay the fee and not be granted br?0

It's pretty much guaranteed. I did read somewhere a while back that you can be refused bankruptcy if fraud is involved, not sure how true that is though.

I believe there maybe some additional questions if this is your second or subsequent bankruptcy0

all online, i was told by my local CAB, that i was first few people they'd directed to the online system at the time (2016), and i remember the lady having phone calls with them about the system as we tried to do it together, as there were still bugs lol.
