Hello...don't know of any offers...can only say that I bought a Moulinex one at around £25. I am usually quite good and use my gadgets, but this was the pits! OK the juice was nice but it took about an hour all in to get a glassful, drink it and put the machine back in the cupboard! The reason being that it was necessary to chop all the fruit & veg up to get it into the funnel thing...and it simply took ages. Then when I'd had my juice the contraption had to be dismantled and hand washed...none of the bits were suitable to go in the dishwasher. I've lumbered my sister with it now, ha ha!

I still want a juicer, however I'd really only consider one of the big fancy expensive ones which you don't have to chop the fruit & veg, and which is v.v.easy to clean. Some you can even just bung fruit in whole if you'd normally eat the skin eg apples but not oranges. They are also apparently much easier to clean. These two features are definitely worth paying out for - go for the best you possibly can rather than choose by price. I have also heard that the more expensive ones extract more juice so you get less pulp, and less waste...use less fruit in other words, therefore in the longer term spend less money.

    Hope that is helpful.

We have the one that that American old bloke was flogging - can't remember his name, but it was quite expensive and we got it with about 30 quid off. You're supposed to be able to clean it in a jiffy but IT TAKES HOURS. I think for our first juicer we maybe should have gone for one of the cheaper ones to see how we got on. The juice is great. The thing that squeezes the bits out is great. You can stick apples and things in whole cos of the superduper blade thingy. And if you have a dishwasher, then the cleaning might be great too. But it takes so long to set up, push the fruit through, clean, put away, that it really is a bit of a white elephant.

It wouldn't be so bad if we could juice in bulk, but apple juice goes brown and orange juice goes bitter after only a day - any hints?

The one I've heard the best comments on is the Juicelady mentioned by gk172.

I've got this one but in white

It really does work well and most of the parts go in the dishwasher but I bought mine from a bootsale for a fiver.

We got one last year - hinari or something. Pulps well and the juice is nice, but personally I think it's a huge waste of money, unless you want to juice veg.

Juice is cheaper in cartons than the cost of fruit to make the equivalent.

Saying that carrot and orange is yum, and i put the carrot pulp in cakes afterwards.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
