Hi
I am in the position that I am able to pay my mortgage off before moving to more expensive property in the next 6 months. I will be getting another mortgage, on a better deal as part of the move.
Will it reduce the admin headache or cause me any issues by doing this?
Thanks

It will make little difference.
You need to pay off the mortgage before you can sell your current home.
If you do it now or the day you move home you still need to clear the debt.
One less thing to worry about so yes clear the mortgage asap.1
