Solar panels mis selling with bank loan

I have recently had a unexpected call about my solar panels being mis sold and with a follow up from solicitors, with professional paperwork.  My finance was with a well known high street bank and the FIT payments do not cover the monthly payments nor will it have paid for itself at the end of the term as I was led to believe, but the firm who installed the panels no longer exists. The insurance taken out at the start is also no longer valid.  I can’t prove that I was told it was self funding. I do receive the FIT payment that is mentioned on the original order.  Should I bother with this firm of solicitors, supposedly on a no win no fee basis, but lots of forms to sign.  Any suggestions?
