Council Tax - is it added to BR?

Hello everyone, looking for some advice please.
I've been issued with a liability order, having been summonsed for non payment of Council Tax. Terms have been agreed for me to pay the full amount of £740 by tomorrow, pay day.
I'm on the point of petitioning for BR, online forms completed, everything is ready to go but my query is - would I be better off paying the CT and waiting to go BR, or should I use the money I have for the CT payment to pay the BR fees?
That is to say, should I wait until the beginning of the new financial year and if so, would the whole of next year's CT then be added to my petition and my council be one of my creditors? (As they already are but for the amount outstanding from the LO?)

A statement of affairs would helpIf your budget has a surplus it probably won't make much difference, as it'd just mean a bigger surplus for that tax year that you'll have to hand over. If you have no surplus its possible you'll be allowed to keep the money you would otherwise spend on council taxIf you go bankrupt now though its over that bit quicker, and gets all creditors off your back quicker1

Thanks, you've made my mind up for me - I will bite the bullet & make payment tomorrow once I've been paid.
Would you recommend that I pay some cash into my son's bank account to keep us going in case my own is frozen?
Really appreciate you taking the time to reply0 -
It wouldn't be a bad idea, most do cash but transfer should be ok, as long as reasonable amount

Don't pay anyone who is going to be a creditor before you go BR as this is seen as a preferential payment and will just be clawed back0

indeed making a preferential payment on a debt would be a bad idea, but I don’t think that’s what OP was suggesting
if it’s transferring day £100 to a family member so food etc for household can be purchased that’s ok. Transferring because you owe family money isn’t. In either case transferring a lot of money is bad idea as could be misconstrued
the sooner the OP has a safe account of their own the better0 -
Thanks both - my son is 16 and lives at home so it was only money for his school meals / bus fare (A Level student) and anything else we may need before I hear back from the OR0
