Im 27 weeks pregnant & saw a dentist 2-3 weeks ago. I have just noticed a hole in back 2 teeth. Having got pics i can see the gum has dissapeared between the 2! I only noticed a air hole gap 2/3 days ago.. dentist never mentioned gum disease at checkup. If i make an appointment to see him again about this will they charge me or will my current exemption apply? How about for treatments? Is this something they can offer being pregnant and something that my current exemption will count towards? Thanks in Advanced
Oh, can anyone recommend any mouthwashes etc for this?

Think your exemption lasts during pregnancy and a year after. Just go back as good time to get stuff done when not paying for it.0

If you're concerned, get back to the dentist and let them see what you're worrying about. Your exemption would still be valid, and it'll Put your mind at rest. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0
