Collectable Christmas Decorations

This is my first Christmas with the person I intend spending the rest of my life with - everyone say AHHHHHHH or BLEEUUUURGH as you see fit 
Anyway we want to buy a special decoration for the tree each year so we can mark our time together. Does anyone have any ideas of where we can go to get one? I'm not bothered about spending a bit of cash on it, I've got loads of normal decs and the obligatory homemade ones from when my nipper was little. We're not Disney types though so something like that is out the window.

Don't know where ooop north you are but if you have a city nearby with a christmas market you can find some gorgeious ones. I'm from Chester originally and they have one, or Manchester has a FAB one. Now I live near Edinburgh and they have a very nice market too. Can be a bit pricey as they are normally hand made but very beautiful.0
