I am (later this week) going to get every chat removed from this thread and ask the forum team to take it down to one page and close the thread to replies.

I am about to delete my later replies from half way down page one onwards here - and if the regulars want to do the same it will make the thread shorter immediately and make the Forum Team's split easier!

Yes the reference threads like this one used to be locked, but then that prevented people from updating the posts contained therein, so they were opened to allow the information to be kept up-to-date.

I'll see what needs doing at the weekend (needs to be one page only so definitely a split discussion thread).

I will probably ask for it to be closed as long as I can have it re-opened for occasional edits, like I used to by asking @Crabman about the NEWBIES thread.

I've recently tweaked the template defence wording and yesterday I added to the 8 steps not to use or scan the paper N180 form. So it is up to date.

Hi, I don't know if this is still active but my husband has just received a claim form from a parking ticket he apparently got nearly 4 years ago from smart parking out of the blue. Never received any notice or previous letters regarding this that we can remember. Definitely not had anything in the past 3 years since we moved in together.

We want to write a defence against this but we are struggling with how and what to say.

Any advice or a template I can use. I am new to mse so navigating hasn't been the easiest.
