Qualifications for NHS Clerical Role.

Hi, did a search on this but info was from quite a few years ago.
I recently got a job as a P/T clerk within the NHS on a temp basis. I'm interested in getting something a bit more permanent, a clerk job is fine, I'm not wanting to become a secretary, but I've noticed a few clerk jobs are asking for RSA/OCR or equivalent qualifications.
I know RSA is defunct and OCR don't appear to have much happening either. There appears to be no similar courses running near me. I am aware of Pitman, however.
I just wondered if anyone knows the most suitable quals to undertake for Clerical work in the NHS? The temp job I'm in just asked for generally good computer/typing skills but other simar jobs ask for the RSA equivalent.
Thanks.

Look at City & Guilds NVQs in Business Administration or similar subject. They seem to be still going.

Check out ECDL - the NHS may still be keen. Standard ECDL is a Level 2 qualification but there are ECDL Advanced which can count as Level 3, I believe.
