Can someone point me in the right direction of a letter for Full and Final Settlement where you are sending off the payment from a third party, i.e. family member paying it off for you.

There is a lot of info on "Full & Final Settlements" at the link below, including a letter than you can adapt to your situation.

If at all in doubt you can ring them free for advice as well. The other organisations in my signature also don't charge for advice on F&F's.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Don't send the payment until you have it in writing that they are accepting the amount as a F&F settlement though. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -
I got full and final settlement amounts from Barclaycard and Egg - which luckily my father paid for me.
Just a word of warning if you go down this route...
I have noticed on my Experian Report that the the difference between what was owed and what was paid is showing as an outstanding debt not being paid every month - which is seriously affecting my credit score.
Does anyone know if this is correct, or can I get this changed on my report?

Did you get agreement in WRITING that the settlement was full and final and the the Credit Reference Files should be marked in some way to indicate that it was settled?
If you didn't then you may have difficulty now.
