Hi, I know I opted out of serps around 25-30 years ago I have all the details etc of the company. I have seen many adverts regarding miss-information regarding opting out and companies offering to check on this however with all the warnings of pensions being stolen who can I trust to safely check if I was miss-sold???

Page 4 has a flow chart. Effectively, if you were under the age of 45 (men) or 40 (women) then its almost certain that it was a good decision.
Since the new state pension and the changes in 2006 to allow tax free cash from your contracted out pension, most people who contracted out via a personal pension are better off.
if in doubt, contact a local IFA to you.
