I want to get some board games for Christmas

I'm spending Christmas in a hotel with my parents, who got divorced earlier this year, and my older sister.

I thought I might bring one or two board games to keep us occupied (and hopefully avoid any arguments).

Does anyone know any good ones, or good places to look? I'm on a budget so can't afford to spend much.

Check out http://www.boardgamegeek.com for more information about board games than you could shake a stick at. They also have hundreds of lists of free and cheap games which are actually good, with ratings, number of player, time to play, and so on.
