Expat in Cyprus needs a sterling bank account to receive pension payments

My personal pension is due to start but I only have a euro bank account with Bank of Cyprus. I think it would be better to have a sterling account so I can choose when to exchange money. Would a mobile online account be suitable or what do people currently use?

I use Starling. App based and has great no fee currency conversion rates.1

Take a look at TransferWise, particularly if you expect to convert your £ into Euros regularly.1

I use Revolut. Works well for exchanging from £ to € and free transfers to France. Other functions online/atm etc is mixed but that maybe my fault!1
