As per title,, i have tried searching but no joy (i know)
Been trying to get a few quotes in for a zappi (have PV and Iboost) price, but had a couple of quoters saying that they won't quote with the £500 grant as its ending March.
I am a holding back a bit as it now transpires I am on a loop on my street (i am the feeder to next door) and have to await Western Power to give the go ahead.
Does anyone have a link to a proper statement from the government?

I can't find anything about the grant ending, here is the list of latest Gov docs:
Office for Low Emission Vehicles - Latest documents
But if a couple of companies have said the same, then perhaps something is up, do you have any more information?

I know it only applies to "smart" chargers as of least year but haven't heard about it ending completely.

Just had it confirmed by someone who installs chargers and it is indeed ending although is highly likely to be replaced with something similar.
Apparently, OLEV announced the end date of the current scheme in 2018.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go3 -
Oh bum, thanks for confirmation.
Ive been a trifle lazy about installing a socket.
The 3 pin plug is convenient enough usually, but 3.3kw charge would definitely be better than ~2.2kwWest central Scotland
4kw sse since 2014 and 6.6kw wsw / ene split since 2019

Yeah i had negotiated mine down to £200 but then there was a delay in supply (september time) and then it looked like V2G was going to be an option.
Should have had it done by now, no excuse reallyWest central Scotland

Missed this thread earlier.
The £500 has indeed been withdrawn as of 1st April, but there remains a £350 grant now. This is guaranteed for the next year.
