Using steak

Hello, looking for opinions, i have a vacuum packed steak in the fridge i defrosted three days ago and plan to use today, it looks fine, would you use or throw away ?

Yes, I use the vacuum packer a lot, and I reckon that if I take something out of the freezer, directly in to the fridge, then it has a 3 day life. usual caveats of checking once you open it etc.0

Given that beef is aged. I tend to play fast & loose with use by dates in a way that I wouldn't with pork/chicken etc
