Issue with Zopa loan

I will soon contact Zopa to let them know I will have trouble repaying my outstanding loan in the near future. Their website mentions "3 to 6 month arrangements" for people in financial difficulties.

I suffer from types of anxiety too numerous to mention so it would help me to know before I pick up the dreaded phone what that conversation will look like, what questions they will ask, and exactly what kind of "arrangement" I can expect.

    Hi,
Is this your only debt ?

Creditors own payment arrangements are seldom very good, 3-6 months is not long enough for most people to get back on track, whats the reason for you struggling with repayments ?

Is it a short or long term problem ?
Oh, and your best writing to them if speaking on the phone is likely to be awkward for you.

Ask for a breathing space (30 days) and go and see a debt charity to see if there are ways to increase your income to help pay down. There is a range of help available if you ask.
