Mortgage offer - retention?

Our survey valuation came back from nationwide recommending a 5k retention for works to be completed.  We now have the mortgage offer and I cannot see any mention of the retention in the offer.  Does anyone know if this means the offer may have been made without the retention?

Will email my broker to ask as well.

Thank you

Seems the lender isn't that bothered by it, but it could be an omission ,  asking the broker would be my best bet

  • Thanks for the reply.   It was recommended by the surveyor, but not auctioned by the mortgage company.
