FT - pensions mis-selling article

I can’t access the online article so had to google it , again about mid selling out of DB pensions.

This one is about the fact that some large companies with DB schemes such as Tesco are hiring independent third parties (not linked to the advice firm or the regulator) to monitor the transfer advice given by the IFA firms they engage to provide advice to their scheme members. The advice firms have also agreed to continuing checks on their capital adequacy and complaint levels, as well as the products they are recommending to members.1

Basically saying that the regulator isn't good enough and putting their own quality control in place for reputational reasons.1
