Amazon delivery dates keeps changing, just me?

Looking for an item on Amazon, narrowed it down to 5 different designs and a couple of sellers.
My top choice was get it tomorrow (Thurs 20th) if I ordered within 3h42min, 20 minutes later I went back and refreshed
the page to find its now get it Saturday 22nd if ordered with 57 minutes.
Anyone know if the postage timescales are altered depending on the number of orders in my area? Did they have the item
locally but that sold, so its coming from further away now?
Anyone know?
