SSP and Holidays

I'm wondering if any of you could help me?
I've been off work for a week due to a personal situation and have put a Self-Certificate Sick Note in at work.
This week I'm on holiday.
Going to the Doctors after my holiday to get a "proper" Sick Note.
What are my rights regarding holiday pay for this week? - will I get any, or will it be Sick Pay again?

If you have been sick throughout the period and provide medical evidence to prove this, your employer should treat you as sick and pay you sick pay. If you don't get a sick note, they presumably would have to treat you as on holiday and pay holiday pay.
I take it you would prefer the holiday pay, as, if you claimed SSP, you could keep your weeks holiday for another time. This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!
