You’re definitely not too old!  I’m a FTB, just turned 44 and hubby and I are waiting to complete on a 2 bed terraced house in the South East.  :)
    Thanks Dancer

You have made me feel a little bit better now, how much is a 2 x bed terrace in the South? Are you in London.. im not surprised if thats the case it would take forever to save for a deposit
  • @IloveElephants plan for the now, not the future, get a two bed, when the time comes that you have a wife and kids of opposite sex, then look to move up the ladder.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Hi, we are on the coast down in Kent and buying a new build in a semi rural area, 260k for 2 bed mid terrace with garage and 2 parking spaces.  Only two 2 beds on the development and the 3 beds start at 380k.. :# We saved a 15% deposit.
