MA Student not allowed Housing Benefit or UC

I have followed this up at Housing Benefit and made a new claim at UC but have been disallowed any extra help with my housing costs. Even Student Finance and the Universiity itself seem like a dead end. Is there no provision for this ? I do some self-employed work but not enough so am living on £3000 for the year. which is just not enough. Many thanks.

Were you not able to access the PG student loan? If not then perhaps do your studying part time and fit it around work rather than the other way round.
