Temp job/new job

I really want to start looking at houses/mortgages. I have a permanent job, been in it for 2 years. Earn 30800 a year. We currently have a 13K deposit and will be looking at houses up to 130 000. We also have a 3K personal loan, which we haven't missed a repayment for. However my OH only has a temporary contract which finishes at the end of March. When he gets a new job would it be be best for him to be in it for 3-6 months before we even start looking?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You may be able to do it on your salary as it's upto 4.5x single salary.
With waiting for your OH to secure a position, it would depend on the lender as to how long they would want him to be in it for, whether it's perm or temp, if he has a probationary period, whether it's the same type of work he normally does etc.
Have you spoken with a broker to see what options are available?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Depending on your OHs contracting history (Assuming there is one) there can be options available straight away if you are able to show the sustainability of his/her job
