I've got a fairly new cardigan that come undone in a couple of place along the seam at the neck - I want to mend it but difficult to work out how without it showing much. I don't have a sewing machine but I have a needle and thread! Any tips?

As it's fairly new I would return it to the shop you bought it from. That has been poorly made and shouldn't come apart at the seams like that.

If the shop won't replace it, it should be fairly straightforward to repair with needle and cotton, working from the inside and using small stitches and similar coloured thread.
A You-tube search should come up with some useful tutorials - better than I can do with wordsI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.1 -
This happens to mine all the time (think I stretch them too far taking them off) basically he main fabric of the cardigan should tuck inside the edging. I usually sew one side then the other, eg inside then outside, as sewing straight through both sides never works neatly for me.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?2

I would return it but I really like it otherwise and they’ve sold out so I can’t get a replacement. Thanks for the tips! Will try sewing as described and check out some YouTube videos.3

try using invisible thread then it won't show so much1

Easy repair.
Check out a charity shop for a small amount of soft yarn, matching the ply and beige shade of your cardigan. Looks like 2 or 3 ply, which is like baby wool.
Thread a wool needle with a metre or so, then go along the raw stitches of the back, in and out through every single one.
This secures them.
Now, take your needle into the neckband and pull the leopard pattern area into place.
Sandwich the leopard area between both neckband edges and tack along, catching every stitch, then work back again.
