I've got a leg of lamb that weighs 2.370kg. I've checked on a couple of cooking calculator sites and one has given a cooking time of 1hr 36m, and the other has come back with 3hr 16m!
Why would there be such a huge difference?

It will depend on whether you want it rare, medium or well done and the temperature. I'm assuming it has the bone in as boned and rolled will take less time as that will make a difference too. I would say more like 2 hours with 20-30 minutes resting time afterwards to me 3 hours seems a long time
Edit - ive just checked the half leg (1kg) in my freezer and recommend cooking time 1 hour 25 minsLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin1 -
Thank you. It is bone in, and I opted for medium on the calculator. I've split the difference and gone for
2hrs-ish0
