Time length to get a reply after requesting for loan for mortgage

How long does it take to wait for a reply from Halifax after submitting initial documents requested. Like P60, payslip and bank statements

Normally 48 hours. If through a broker, they can do it in a phone call.I am a mortgage broker and IFA.
