Need boyfriend’s proof of address for mortgage but he’s unavailable

Hi
my boyfriend and I have reserved a new build however my boyfriend is currently working away in Kenya as he’s in the forces. He’s currently without his phone for 3 weeks and before he left he sent his documents over to our mortgage broker. However our mortgage broker has informed me that his bank statements don’t include his address. I had our development company (Barratts) call to say that our mortgage broker has let them know about the situation.
I was wondering if there is any way of getting his proof of address somehow whilst he’s away? I understand it’s highly unlikely but I’m feeling incredibly anxious that things are not going to get sorted before our reservation agreement period ends which is in 5 weeks

Any joint current accounts, a council tax bill lying around?
  • If he has internet access he could go to online banking and order a paper statement to be sent to his address.  This would have the account details to match up to the documents already given to the broker.  Would take probably 5 days to get to the house.

Otherwise we have no clue what he has left and what he has taken with him.   Utility Bill, Council Tax, Drivers Licence, HMRC documentation can sometimes be used

Unfortunately not. He’s based in Colchester but his dad’s new address is what he’s listed as his current address but as far as I know nothing gets posted there. It’s a nightmare!

He won’t have internet access until he gets his phone back otherwise this would have been the first thing I would have suggested him to do. His drivers license has his dads old address on. His dad has since moved and he’s not updated it which is a nightmare!

Is there any way at all in which he can be contacted through the employer?

At his mums old address - she has also moved. Both parents have moved house so there’s been that many changes he’s just never got round to updating things. I realised now we should have looked into all of this before we reserved the house

Not that I know of, he’s in the desert doing some kind of exercise course so I wouldn’t even know where I would start with that

As soon as he gets home. Update everything immediately to where he currently resides.
