Dentist Help Needed

Wife hates going to dentist but last night while chewing she heard a crack in upper right side of jaw and sharp pain, now she says the upper and lower teeth clash when closing together. She will not phone surgery now until monday hoping its just a temp thing.
Any dentist give a clue on if its likely temp or something which will need looking into.

1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
